Specialist, Hospitality Marketing Job at Vail Resorts – 4.0 in Broomfield, CO
The Sr. Specialist, Hospitality Marketing will be responsible for driving revenue and room night occupancy at owned & operated hotel and managed lodging properties across the Vail Resorts portfolio of North American mountain resorts, leveraging data and guest segmentation to drive results. This is an analytical role, and relationship building will be a key component of success. The position requires the ability to analyze data and to provide strategic insights.
This person will deliver data and insights to support GTM planning, manage relationships with key business partners, manage OTA channels, deliver marketing insights based on Revenue Management & Marketing Analytics reporting, managing Hospitality Marketing Budget in partnership with Marketing Manager, and oversee marketing promotions and messaging to drive lodging occupancy, room nights and revenue. This person will support the development of marketing programs, initiatives, and new process. They will also play a key part in building promotional lodging offers, oversee content development for multiple channels and platforms, and work cross-functionally.
The person must be a good communicator that is able to give and take feedback, as well as effectively collaborate with team members and prioritize workflow. He/she will have their hands in many different types of projects and be responsible for delivering results on-time in a very fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive attitude are crucial, as well as the ability to process and determine strategy from multiple data sources.
The Sr. Hospitality Marketing Specialist will report to the Hospitality Marketing Manager.
Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills
Leverage guest insights and data to drive effective marketing campaigns that deliver clearly definable results
Demonstrate success working with large data sets
Partner with Revenue Management, Analytics, and Channel teams to provide reporting and actionable insights for GTM planning and optimization
Support the creation and distribution of recap decks and on-going reporting to track performance and provide insights. Communicate performance metrics with stakeholders such as campaign performance and impact to the business.
Develop lodging package offers and promotions
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders (Revenue Management, Channel Teams, etc.)
Manage OTA channels and insights (Expedia, Trip Advisor, Google, etc.)
Manage the Hospitality Marketing budget with precision, and demonstrate strong budget acumen
Work closely with multiple teams at central HQ and resort-based partners to execute company-wide campaigns and promotions
Four-year college degree required. Emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications preferred.
1-2 years of marketing work experience. Hospitality / Travel industry experience preferred

Excellent English language and writing skills.
Excellent bookkeeping and accounting skills.
High degree of organization, attention to details and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, ambitious and multi-tasker
Pursues work with energy and drive.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to be nimble in a fast-paced environment.
