Position Summary: The Patient Services Representative provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing clerical tasks primarily associated with answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures, collection of patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.

Minimum Qualifications: One year experience in medical front office setting.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school diploma or GED required.

Skills Required: Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with the public. Basic knowledge of computers, filing and organizational skills.
